New horizons, Member! Ni'Cole Dayba - your Chandrila Vacation Club Concierge, and the person you'll come find when you don't know where something is.

Before you board, here's some information about how things work aboard the Aurora that you won't find in a travel brochure. This isn't a test. It's just to help your voyage get started off right.

You are a Passenger. On a Chandrila Star Line ship that isn't a formality - it's a rank, and it outranks most of the crew.

The Starship Aurora is the ship. The N'Orlando Port of Call is where she's docked - the terminal, the Marketplace, everything ashore. Ship and shore.

Thursday evening is the Muster - the whole ship gathered in one room to be properly welcomed aboard. Don't miss it.

Seven Factions will be based in and around the Port of Call, and every one of them is recruiting. A Faction runs Missions: two hours, a real objective, a Faction Lead in charge, and you in the middle of it.

Missions are booked with Mission Tokens. You receive Tokens at check-in; at Thursday's Faction Recruitment each one trades for a Mission Pin - one Pin, one specific Mission. When a run's Pins are gone, that run is full. So decide early who you'd like to be nervous for.

A Job is smaller. Someone aboard needs a hand, and the Jobs page is where they ask. No Pin required — just curiosity.

Saturday afternoon each Faction holds its Gathering - its own people, its own ending. And after that, the Main Finale: the whole ship together, one last time.

And this - the CVC Navigator, the Nav - is the little window I'm speaking to you through. Announcements, your schedule, the story as it finds you. Everything aboard works without it. It simply works better with it.

So, that's the plan...but expect some surprises along the way. I'll see you at boarding - and if you have questions, just ask. I know where everything is, and what to call it.

New horizons, CVC Member! Ni'Cole again - with something lovely rather than something useful, today.

You may have heard that the crews building our new Port of Call found something under it. They did. A Shrine of the Whills, sealed and intact, raised a thousand years ago by a Sage of the Whills named Veyra - and Chandrila Star Line has brought the whole story aboard for the voyage.

I'll let the CSL Gallery Exhibition tell you the rest of it. But there is one detail I want you to have BEFORE you arrive, because I think it lands better with a little warning.

The Shrine has a rock garden. Veyra is buried in it - the nearby villagers laid her there when she was gone.

That garden was not her invention. Sages built the same arrangement at shrines across the galaxy: still water, set stone, a place to sit down and think a long thought. Not temples. Waypoints - built for travelers the builders would never meet.

Now. Some of you sailed aboard the Halcyon. You know her Climate Simulator - the quiet one, the room everybody found when they needed five minutes to themselves.

Shug Drabor built that room in the tradition of the Sages' gardens. He understood what they were for - still water, set stone, a long thought - and he kept the tradition alive in plain sight for a whole generation of passengers who never knew it had a name.

So if you have ever sat in the Climate Simulator and felt something deep within - you were sitting in a descendant of the garden a Sage of the Whills is buried in. Drabor knew. Now you do too.

I'm telling you now, so that when you see it you recognize it.

And if you never sailed on the Halcyon - no matter. You're starting at the beginning of a new story.

See you at boarding, Member.
