VOX BINARY DATAWORX — PORT OF CALL, N'ORLANDO. Data recovery. Systems integration. Lockouts resolved. Office fitting out; the network is already up. Rates: negotiable. Results: not.

[Automated notice. This channel was configured by the tenant. The Port's systems office would like it known that it did not approve the configuration, and cannot find it.]

ZORIN VOX has entered the conversation.

ZORIN — Zorin Vox. Expert slicer, senior partner, older brother. Vox Binary Dataworx is going into the Port of Call next to a droid shop, and the Port's own systems have been very welcoming. They didn't mean to be.

ZORIN — You think there's a system I can't slice into? Not very likely. A new Port is a new network, and a new network is like a loth-pup. It trusts everyone. I've been taking it for walks.

ZORIN — Our client list once the doors open: anyone on this voyage with a lock they can't open, a file they can't find, or a droid that has decided it works for someone else. We don't ask why. We ask for half up front.

AN'THO VOX has entered the conversation.

AN'THO — An'tho Vox. Rogue slicer, junior partner, better brother. Same line of work, different drink order. Question for the room: is the C.S.L. 22 Lounge open yet?

ZORIN — No.

AN'THO — Then neither are we. Officially.

ZORIN — Neighbors, since everybody's asking: droid repair on one side of us, and across the concourse a First Order recruitment office is going in. We have a policy about the First Order. It's a personal policy.

AN'THO — Very personal. Also, they've already tried to log into our network twice. Both times they got the Port's holiday schedule. That was not an accident.

ZORIN — The offer. Two hours on this voyage, a job that pays and a system that doesn't want you in it, An'tho and me on the channel and you at the terminal. Vox Binary Dataworx at Faction Recruitment on Thursday evening (10/15), at the Port of Call.

AN'THO — Bring one Mission Token. One Token gets you one Mission Pin, and a Pin is your seat on one specific run. When a run's Pins are gone, that run is locked, and no, we won't slice it open for you. You can tell the Nav which Missions you preregister for and it will help you keep track. Keep your own schedule straight. Zorin can barely keep his.

ZORIN — Thursday 10/15. Bring the Token, bring a problem. We're bored.

AN'THO — And if the Lounge opens before Thursday, someone tell me. Zorin won't.

AN'THO — And did I hear that there's a loth-pup at the shop?
