Can I wear costumes and bring prop weapons, lightsabers and droids to the event?
You bet! We have specific permission from the venue for prop weapons, lightsabers and even droids! Attendees must practice safety and common sense and always be aware of the location of other nearby attendees when handling lightsabers. Droids must not damage the venue flooring.
Is this event youngling-friendly? What ages need event badges?
While younglings are allowed at this event, Halcy-Con has been designed with adult superfans in mind. For Halcy-Con 3, children 8 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult with a paid badge. Ages 9 and up will need their own event badge to attend. We ask that parents take an active role in monitoring their children’s activities and participation in Halcy-Con programming sessions.
Is this event endorsed or sponsored by Disney and/or Lucasfilm Ltd?
No, this is a purely fan-created event. It is not sponsored or endorsed by either The Walt Disney Company or Lucasfilm, Ltd.
How can I support this event?
Halcy-Con 3 is being designed as the epic conclusion to the Halcy-Con trilogy. Unlike years past, there will be NO post-event fundraising. If you wish to support this event the best way to do that is to purchase an event badge, stay in the official event room block (on sale 02/14/26) and to purchase food and drinks within the show areas onsite. THANK YOU for your continued amazing support of Halcy-Con!
Event Badges
--
When do event badges go on sale?
Starlight Reserve (VIP) event badges go on sale on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12pm EST. Legacy Passenger (General Admission) event badges go on sale on February 7, 2026 at 12pm EST. Badges will be available on the Badges page under the Shop/Badges menu.
How many event badges can I purchase?
Purchases of Legacy Passenger (General Admission) event badges are limited to six per transaction. Purchases of Starlight Reserve (VIP) event badges are limited to four per transaction.
Why are the Starlight Reserve (VIP) badges so limited?
Every Halcy-Con event badge includes an unforgettable experience but we want to make sure the Starlight Reserve (VIP) badgeholders receive some additional magic and exclusive perks as thanks for their additional support. But many people within the community have let us know that we may have planned to make this badge type a little TOO limited. We’ve heard you loud and clear on this, and we have increased the number of Starlight Reserve (VIP) badges to be made available on 01/31/26 from 50 to 75. This still allows this badge type to maintain its exclusivity while being available to a larger group.
Why is the event limited to only 600 total badges?
We have show events happening that are designed for all attendees to be present for, and just as was the case with Galactic Starcruiser our maximum event capacity is determined by the capacity of the primary meeting room these “all attendees” events take place.
I'm purchasing multiple badges, do I need to enter a unique attendee email for each badge?
When purchasing multiple badges, you will be prompted to enter an attendee email for each badge purchased. Although you are not required to enter a unique email for each badge purchased, it is encouraged that you do so. We will be using the provided attendee emails to deliver several months of fun and informative real-world and in-universe communications as the event approaches.
What payment types are accepted for event badges?
Stripe payment processing is used for all badge purchases, and Stripe accepts all major credit and debit cards as payment options.
I worked on/at Galactic Starcruiser, is there a special badge for me?
If you worked on the Galactic Starcruiser project team or onboard the Halcyon itself, we are making a limited number of half-price Legacy Passenger (General Admission) event badges available to you! Simply email us at info@halcy-con.com (using “Blue Crew Badge” as the subject line) and let us know your name and official Cast Member title while working on Starcruiser. If applicable, please include a photo of you in your Cast Member uniform. We will contact you with details how to redeem your discounted Halcy-Con 3 event badge (while supplies last).
Will there be single-day or day-of-event badges available?
Halcy-Con is designed to be a multi-day unique boutique experience with a variety of different activities each day. We will not have single-day or day-of-event badges available for purchase.
How can I transfer my event badge?
When you originally bought your badge(s) from this site you received an order confirmation email containing a QR code for each badge purchased. You can easily transfer event badge(s) to another person by providing them with the QR code(s) of the badge(s) you wish to transfer. Badge pickups onsite will be “first scan wins” and replacement badges will not be provided for badge orders that have been successfully picked up, so only share or accept badge QR codes with trusted individuals.
Official Room Block
--
When does the official venue room block go on sale?
The official venue room block goes on sale on February 14, 2026 at 12pm EST at the Travel and Hotel page under the Attend menu.
Are there real-world and in-event perks for attendees staying in the room block?
Absolutely, and you are GOING to want them! We are currently finalizing the room block terms & real-world perks with the venue along with the in-event perks for room block guests. This info will all be released in early February.
I'm staying at the venue but not in the room block, does this count?
No. Staying at the venue but not within our assigned room block does not count your room against the large commitment we have had to make to the venue. It is absolutely critical that enough attendees stay in the official room block to enable this extraordinary event to happen.
Do I get charged the full amount of my room block reservation right away?
No, only one night’s deposit is required to make a reservation within the official room block.
Can my room block reservation extend before/after Halcy-Con?
Yes! The room rate and venue perks are available from three days before to three days after the offical event dates.
Immersive
--
How immersive is the event?
The galaxy is alive around you at Halcy-Con 3. Some moments invite interaction. None require it. You are free to observe, fully jump into character, or simply enjoy the experience as yourself.
I mostly want to hang out with my friends in cool themed spaces. Is this OK?
Some passengers want to follow the paths and story. Some want to hang out. Some want a bit of both. Just be respectful of other attendees and have fun!
Do I need to have a "Starcruiser Character" to attend?
Everyone has their own story. Passenger characters are encouraged but in no way required.
Are you trying to recreate Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?
No, Halcy-Con 3 is a fun Immersive Environment created by Starcruiser Superfans for the incredible Starcruiser Community to play in together as one.
What is the Starship Aurora?
The Starship Aurora is the fan-created fictional spaceship that is a main setting at Halcy-Con 3, along with the Aurora’s Departure Terminal and Port of Call. So many places to have adventures!
Will there be a main story and side paths?
Yes! There is a fun and engaging main story that happens in the shows spaces during the event. There will also be characters & locations onsite that attendees can interact with on side paths. While some of the fan-favorite path types may be familiar, some will be brand-new!
Do I need to attend starting on Thursday evening to participate?
Halcy-Con 3 begins late afternoon on Thursday, Oct 15, 2026. Attendees will be assigned “boarding groups” based on the day/time of their event badge purchase. After all groups have boarded on Thursday and had a chance to mingle, explore and have a tasty galactic beverage, the main story elements will start to unfold. Attendees will become “Passengers” and meet characters that will guide them toward different paths and story points. While most path activities will not begin until Friday, important story elements and path introductions will take place Thursday evening and attendance is highly encouraged.
I am in a different Boarding Group on Thursday than some of my friends, will we still be able to take part in the same side paths?
Yes! Earlier boarding groups give Passengers more time to relax and explore the Starship Aurora, Port of Call (and its Marketplace) and the Departure Terminal but story elements will not begin in earnest until all groups have boarded.
What is the "Chandrila Vacation Club"?
The CVC is a fun, fan-created entity that serves as an in-universe entity to introduce Passengers to the many activites on the Starship Aurora, Port of Call…and beyond! It’s a big, beautiful galaxy…let the Chandrila Vacation Club be your gateway to adventure!
Are you casting any performance roles from within the community?
We are expecting to cast Halcy-Con 3 performance roles with both professional performers and from within the Starcruiser Community. More details to follow!
Panels and Activities
--
Are there panels and other such activities at Halcy-Con 3?
Yes, but with one BIG change from Halcy-Con 1 & 2: all panels, presentations, workshops, roundtables and activities such as crafting are all IN-UNIVERSE. Whatever you wish to present or host, you are doing it as if you (and the other Passengers) are all living within the Star Wars universe!
This event is described as sandbox/playground style. What is that?
Panels & such activities make up a smaller portion of the show content content than in past years, but these elements are still created BY the Starcruiser Superfan attendees, FOR the Starcruiser Superfan attendees. Shortly after badge sales end, all badgeholders will be able to submit proposals for in-universe panels, exhibits and events. These will be reviewed by the event team to assess feasibility and potential legal/safety issues. We will then assemble a dazzling array of programming and activity sessions for Starship Aurora attendees to enjoy amid all the other adventures onboard!
See our Sessions page for more on the types of programming we anticipate offering at Halcy-Con 2025 and our Programming Submission page for details on how to become a part of the action.
What are the different types of programming at Halcy-Con?
Our daytime programming falls into five categories: Panels, Presentations, Meet-Ups, Workshops, and Games / Interactive Sessions. For more information about those, please visit our Sessions page.
How long are programming sessions at Halcy-Con?
50 minutes long with a 10 minute break in-between to clear and reset rooms. Sessions will start on the hour.
When are you accepting programming submissions?
Programming Proposals will be open from 3/15/26 to 5/15/26.
When will we hear if we’ve been accepted?
We anticipate sending out acceptances for programming proposals no later than May 31st.
When will the schedule be released?
All programming elements will be released along with the rest of the Starship Aurora’s Inaugural Voyage itinerary in early October.
How are programming sessions selected?
Once submissions close, the Halcy-Con administrative team will review all proposals for feasibility as well as content. We are looking for proposals that will allow us to put together a programming slate with a diverse range of programming items from a diverse range of presenters. Inclusion in the program is entirely at the discretion of the Halcy-Con admin team. We reserve the right to cap hours of participation for individual presenters, both to allow time and space for many presenters and to ensure that everyone presenting also has plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the con!
Vendors and Artists
--
Will there be vendors, artists and exclusive merchandise at Halcy-Con?
Yes! We will have a themed Marketplace at the event. This will not be a huge show floor with random pop culture merch, but a highly focused selection of vendors and artists that feature art and artifacts from not only the CSL flagship Halcyon Starcruiser but also from many other exotic CSL Ports of Call around the galaxy…maybe even Starship Aurora merchandise too!
How do I apply for vendor space?
We will announce when we are accepting submissions from Artists/Makers for 2026 Merchant spaces SOON. As we’ve previously stated, there will be less Merchants this year than the last two years. Like in years past, all Artists/Makers must produce at least one exclusive item that is only available for purchase at Halcy-Con.
I am planning on attending Halcy-Con whether I vend or not. Should I purchase my event badge now?
If you are planning to attend Halcy-Con whether or not you vend, we highly recommend that you purchase your event badge ASAP. Once badges are sold out, they will not be available if for any reason your Merchant application is not approved.
My Merchant application was approved! What do I have to buy?
You must purchase a Merchant stall in the Marketplace (cost: $60) in addition to an event badge.
I am an approved Merchant and previously purchased a 2026 VIP / General Attendee badge. Do I have to buy another Merchant badge?
There will be no “Merchant” badge type this year. Your 2026 VIP / General Attendee badge is the only badge you’ll need (in addition to your Marketplace stall reservation).
I am an approved Merchant, how many Marketplace spaces am I allowed to purchase?
Each approved Merchant may purchase one Marketplace stall. If you have the need for more than one space, please contact our Vendor Director. Any Marketplace stall purchases made by non-approved vendors will be refunded.
Do Merchant Assistants need event badges?
If you wish to have Marketplace Assistants, they will each need their own 2026 event badge.
What are the Marketplace hours this year?
Marketplace hours will be finalaized as we approach the event. But with the new immersive paradigm for 2026, we know that many Merchants will want to both play and vend, and new flexible Marketplace guidelines are being created accordingly.
I have a Marketplace question not answered here. What do I do?
No problem! Please email our Vendor Director, Constance Eza, at merchantservices@halcy-con.com.
Event Volunteers
--
I'd like to help, are you accepting event volunteers?
Absolutely! In the next few months we will be opening up submissions for attendees to volunteer a block of time to assist with event operations. If you volunteer a block of time to assist, you still must be a badge-holding attendee, but there will be some fun volunteer perks…come join the Halcy-Con Volunteer Team!
Details will be posted as we get closer to the show.
