Starship Aurora, LLC founders Kristine and Martin Smith are Star Wars and Disney Parks superfans, as well as two of the hosts of Heroes of the Halcyon, a Galactic Starcruiser Superfans Podcast. Also known by their Starcruiser aliases, Twi’lek space pirate Captain Ma’Li Ficent and galaxy-famous holovid director Jorg Sacul, Kristine and Martin created Starship Aurora, LLC to produce exciting fan-based live events. Building off their two sold-out 2023 Muster Meetup live events in Disney Springs and sold-out inaugural Halcy-Con fan convention in 2024, they are always on the lookout for opportunities to collaborate with members in the creative community to raise the bar in what live fan events can be!

TC Conway is an Emmy-award winning immersive producer renowned for his visionary contributions to live TV production, and immersive experiences with Impossible Works. Specializing in crafting successful brand-aligned experiences and pioneering industry-leading innovations, TC’s expertise lies in ideation, leadership, strategy, and creativity, driving brands to thrive in today’s high-touch consumer market. With a portfolio spanning from intricately designed escape rooms to captivating Alternate Reality Games, TC embodies the ethos of Impossible Works, pushing the boundaries of immersive design and storytelling at the forefront of the creative universe.

Michael Tierney

Volunteer Coordinator

Mike, a retired police supervisor and entrepreneur in Orlando, Florida, combines his professional skills with his lifelong passion for Star Wars and Disney. Volunteering with the Halcy-Con team, he serves as both a regional liaison and social media moderator, where he works to connect fans and foster a welcoming online community.

With a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University, Mike is dedicated to enhancing the experiences within the Disney, Star Wars, and Starcruiser fan communities.

Mike’s love of Star Wars and this community is enhanced by his spouse of 29 years, Anthony Handley.

Constance Eza

Vendor, Artist & Exclusives Coordinator

Constance is no stranger to conventions. She comes to Halcy-Con with 25 years of experience in convention running under her belt. She’s run shows all over the US, Canada and even one in international waters! Constance has worked in a variety of management roles including executive director, guest coordinator, vendor director, special events coordinator and most often comics coordinator.

Constance is elated to be joining the Halcy-Con team as the vendor, artist, and exclusives coordinator and looks forward to bringing you the best the galaxy has to offer at Halcy-Con. When she’s not running conventions, Constance is a vascular neurologist in Florida who had the incredible luck to voyage 7 times on the Lady H.

The Halcyon and the people she met there changed her life and Constance is excited to give even the smallest bit back to this community that brought her life long friends (shout out to her cabin mates!) and gave her permission to play. Oh, and if you found one of her porgs aboard the Halcyon, tell them she says hello.

Anthony Handley

Design Consultant

For a lifelong Star Wars superfan like Anthony, the opportunity to travel aboard the Galactic Starcruiser was a dream come true. Over six voyages on the Halcyon, he adventured in the Star Wars universe and deepened his love for immersive storytelling.

With over 25 years of experience in product design and emerging technologies, Anthony is pleased to support the development and design of the fan experience at Halcy-Con.

Nicole Doebert

Social Events Coordinator

Nicole currently serves as Culture Strategy Execution Consultant leading culture transformation for Thrivent Financial. Past work experience includes serving as an enterprise strategic transformation consultant, customer experience strategy consultant, chief of staff for the Member Services division, managing member retention, congregational marketing strategy, Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity, workshop/event strategy and communication strategy.

Nicole splits her time between Appleton, WI and Celebration, FL with her husband Brian and their crazy, shirt-wearing black cat, Cosmo. After finding new forever friends on a voyage aboard the Halcyon, Nicole has been an invaluable asset to the Starcruiser Superfans community, bringing her social event planning skills to both 2023 Muster Meetup events in Disney Springs and now Halcy-Con convention events!

Jenn Guthrie

Volunteer Coordinator

Jenn’s passion for Star Wars started like many at a young age. Watching Episodes 4-6 while babysitting her little brother (passing on the what she had learned), midnight theater releases of the prequels and re-releases, and attending Celebration 2 in Indianapolis on her Senior Skip Day (where she got our Beloved Princess’s autograph), showed the force was strong with this one. When she found her own Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder years later, it was a match made in the stars! Wedding details, home decor, baby books and toys, wardrobe stables, Star Wars was always a part of everyday life for these two as their lives took them along their journey. When a chance came to visit the stars with friends, these two scoundrels jumped at the chance, and Indie & Jon’z were born.

“Journeying on the Halcyon Starcruiser was one of the biggest reconnecting with my inner self I have ever had. I was Indie and I was able to come alive through the interactions with those around me and through that beautiful space full of wonder and magic. I’ve gained so many Space Family and Friends and have been so inspired by the amazing artists and people who have taken this Journey and continue to make it into everlasting memories. It was rare, I was there – I am Canon!”

Jenn had three trips on the Halcyon – as a couple with her Nerf Herder, as a family with her younglings, and as a solo traveler with her Space Family. She’s committed to do whatever her small part can be to keep the Halcyon Alive in our Hearts as we go Together…As One…through our next adventures.
