Join us for the highly anticipated Sabacc Tournament at Halcy-Con 2025! Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer to this thrilling game of strategy and chance, this tournament is your chance to showcase your skills, compete for glory, and immerse yourself in the excitement of the galaxy’s most famous card game.

Sabacc For Charity will not only offer to teach and challenge experienced players in all variants of sabacc, but they will also have available other in-universe games like Pazaak (from Knights of the Old Republic), Hintaro (a popular galaxy dice game), and the famous holo-chess game, Dejarik.  If you fancy a game of Dejarik, we recommend you let the Wookiee win.

On Thursday, Oct 16 all attendees who attend Preview Night will get an incredible first look at what’s to come.  The gaming hub will be open to experience the space and sit to play any of the available games.

On Friday Oct 17 and Saturday Oct 18 the tables are open from 1-9pm for all Halcy-Con travelers!  Sabacc For Charity will be teaching and preparing everyone for the big charity tournament on Saturday evening, starting at 6:30pm.

By Saturday, you’ve been taught by the best in the galaxy and now it’s time to put your skills to the test against those that seek to take the title of Sabacc Champion!

Starting at 6:30pm, Sabacc For Charity is hosting a charity tournament to raise money and awareness for the Blood Cancer United, a nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers.  100% of all the entry donations made in the tournament will be going to this amazing organization.

Registration for Saturday’s charity tournament will only be available onsite starting Thursday, October 16th.
